OSPF |BGP | MPLS course
Course Duration: 12 weeks
Packages: INR 8LPA (Fresher)
OSPF |BGP | MPLS course
Course Overview:
OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) and BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) both are routing protocols that enable decisions regarding routing across cyberspace. They represent a set of algorithms that coach network routers on how to communicate, to redirect traffic to the best path. Multi-protocol label switching is a way to ensure reliable connections for real-time applications, but it’s exclusive, leading enterprises to consider SDWAN as a way to limit its use.
About Program :
Building Core Networks with OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, and MPLS Bootcamp (BCN) is a Cisco Training on Demand course that provides the skills to design, deploy, operate, and maintain an ISP backbone network.
This course walks you through the process of building a network from scratch, starting with Interior Gateway Protocols (IGP), moving to Border Gateway Protocols (BGP), and then to Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS).
Pre-requisites :
- Basic knowledge of networking
- TCP/IP protocol knowledge
- Basic knowledge of Windows server/Unix
OSPF |BGP | MPLS :
- Network topology or design: OSPF is a type of hierarchical network topology or design while BGP is a type of mesh topology or design.
- OSPF requires intensive use of memory and CPU resources. With BGP, the size of the routing table dictates the required device resources.
- On the other hand, Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) is a routing method in telecommunications networks that directs data from one node to the next based on the short path labels rather than long network addresses, therefore resulting in avoiding complex lookups in a routing table and speeding the traffic flows
